The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is low-cost, frequently leaving little reward to find more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.
But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.
In a region that has among the highest carbon footprints on the planet, one business is making the most of the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving rewarding too, currently their client-list includes McDonald's.
